This week at the RefugeHOP.....

Happy holidays everyone!

I just wanted to update you on a few things going on this week at the Refuge as well as some upcoming events and info.

Many of you who live in Rancho Cucamonga know about the city tradition known as the Thoroughbred Christmas lights. Well this Friday, December 19th Refuge is relocating from our building to a house up at Thoroughbred (which means we will not be at our building but instead up at the house). Join us as we cry out in prayer, worship, prophetic arts as well as healing ministries and our prophetic team will also be there. See the streets that bring so much joy to people be radically filled and overtaken by a deeper joy, the joy of Christ and Holy Spirit. What more can you ask for pretty lights, amazing worship and revival breaking out on the streets of Rancho Cucamonga:) We will be starting the festivities at 7pm at 8006 Thoroughbred St., Alta Loma, Ca 91701. So dress warm, grab the kids and join us as we pull heaven to earth!!!

Also our prayer house schedule for the week of Christmas will be as follows:
Closed Sunday and Monday (December 22-23)
Open on Tuesday 8am-2pm and reopen 6pm-10pm
Closed Wednesday and Thursday (December 24-25)
Open Friday and Saturday at 6pm (closed in the morning only)

And our last announcement and one of the most exciting...Corey Russell is coming back to Rancho in January! He is leading for the second year here at Refuge a School of Intercession. Please log onto our website at www.refugehop.com to register for this event, registration is required and limited so please register soon.

Corey Russell is coming to the Refuge!!!

We will be taking pre-registrations on line through the website www.refugehop.com or in the Refuge House of Prayer starting Friday December 12th.

School of Intercession with Corey Russell

The Refuge House of Prayer in Rancho Cucamonga would like to invite you to a special weekend with Corey Russell from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. In addition to teaching at the school of Ministry at IHOP, Corey travels nationally, preaching on themes of intercession and the pursuit of the knowledge of God. He has released two CD's; The Days of Noah and Ancient Paths, which mix worship and preaching in a way that stirs the heart and mind to greater depths of revelation and intimacy with God. In addition to his CD's and teaching Corey has written a book called the Pursuit of the Holy which lays a foundation for understanding who God is and how we are to respond to him. We are excited to gather this regions intercessors and continue to build relationships and unity that will affect our city and our ministries. Now is the time, we believe God is shouting to the intercessors in cities and regions across the earth, training and equipping them through the prayer movement to take cities into generational revival preparation of the coming age.

Tonight, November 2...at the Refuge...

Hey everyone!

As you may already know today at noon kicked off our start of the Esther Fast into the elections. I wanted to invite you all to attend especially tonight at 8pm as Jake will be leading worship with a little preaching and sharing with us Call updates and a little on his coversations with Lou Engle and his heart for California. You will not want to miss this time, come if you can, bring your whole family and friends....and we will see you at the prayer house!

Did you miss the Pre Call Rally in Rancho Cucamonga???

Well now you can catch it online either for the first time or all over again. Thanks to our friends at the Inland Empire Television Network (www.theietn.com) you can watch the Rancho Cucamonga Pre-Call Rally tonight at 6pm and again tomorrow at 6pm.

Pastor Sylvester is the head of the IE TV Network and has so generously used his spare time and many resources to come and record the pre call rally we had a few weeks back and is now televising it via the internet right before the call itself. Please check it out and hope to see you all at the CALL San Diego this Saturday!!!

The Refuge and the Call CA...

The CALL CA is this Saturday...yay!

At the Call we were told we could promote the upcoming Refuge Internship (kicking off this winter) and our promotional tool is going to be tshirts. We are asking anyone that represents our region and our house and attending the Call this Saturday to help us promote by wearing a tshirt. These shirts are really cool (Jake designed them so you know they are amazing!) and they are a great way to get the info out there. If you are interested in sporting a Refuge tshirt to the Call (donations are being accepted but not required) please let me know. Shirts will be ready tonight at the 7pm meeting and available until tomorrow night so either call me or email me and let me know.

Refuge Reminders...

Hello everyone!
Happy week of the CA Call!!!Just want to give you an update on what is going on this week. We are open Thursday and Friday 8am-2pm and again from 6pm-10pm, we are closed on Saturday since we will all be at the CALL since it is pretty close. There are many local churches chartering buses and providing car pool opportunities, check out he call website for more info, www.thecall.com

We will be open Sunday at 12 noon until Tuesday at midnight for the Esther fast. We will be closed on that Wednesday however.
Please know you are in our prayers, we love you all and hope to see you at the prayer house soon!

California Outcry is an all inclusive, cross cultural, cross denominational, reactive and proactive prayer gathering for all pro marriage and pro family believers.

We seek for different cultures and networks in California to be represented at this time to express their spiritual "outcry" over the Supreme Court decision on the definition of marriage and over the need for a spiritual awakening in America.

We believe that God is trying to capture the attention of our nation and awaken the church during this season. Now more than ever, the body of Christ needs to unite in repentance, prayer and fasting. We need to take a spiritual proactive response on behalf of our nation and our generation.

Hello everyone we are officially back and town and are excited to share with you an special event this Friday at the Prayer House that we would like you to join us for. As you know we have partnered with several missionaries through prayer and finances over the last year, [the option] has become in many ways a part of our family but we have been praying for many others. One of which has been our friends, originally from Laguna Niguel, Stuart and Cathy Greer who have founded a ministry called Mission Support Network. Over the last several months they have been in the nations connecting with a number of organizations and leaders preparing for how God is going to use them on the earth in this next season of their ministry. They will be joining us on Friday for our prayer meeting from 7 to 9pm which will give us an opportunity to minister to them and allow them to share with us what God has been doing and what they will be up to next. I think you will find when you meet them that you will fall in love them as many of us already have. So please join us as we honor them and continue to cover them in prayer. Below is a brief bio and picture of them so you know who you are meeting and a bit about them.
And one last note thank you to everyone that stepped up over this lastweekend to help keep the house running while we were away in San Diego.Rayna, Pastor Fraser and Joanne, Dave and Becky Collins, Pastor Kelly andher whole fam, Dean, Justin Waldo, and any one else I might have forgotten.You guys are my hero's and I am so excited to hear how well it went. Founders Stuart and Cathy Greer are both ministers and founders of MissionSupport Network, a ministry with a passion for Jesus and His global harvest. Their heart's desire is to see the lost, the next generation and the poor impacted by the Kingdom of God. Prior to full time ministry Cathy spent 20 years in the media industry and Stuart has been a small business owner for ten years. Cathy and Stuart were members of a team that planted VIneyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel, California and eventually Cathy went on staff serving as the Outreach Pastor. They have preached the gospel and seen thousands come to Christ through evangelist outreaches and small crusades.In addition to reaching other for Christ they have ministered to pastors,leaders and congregations in various nations including Mexico, South Africa, Mozambique, Ghana, Togo, Russia, Thailand, Columbia, Venezuela, Cambodia, India and the US. They are currently focusing their ministry in Africa, Asia and the US.

Fall Internship Interest Meeting

Just wanted to remind you all that tomorrow at 4pm at the Refuge we will be having an interest meeting for all of you interested in interning with the Refuge this next season. Even if you are on the fence about wether or not to intern please come to this meeting and get info.

The CALL DC, San Fran trip, God TV and updates...

Hey everyone!

Happy Thursday to you all...I pray your weeks are full of love and many blessings. As some of you know we just got back from San Fran. W are blessed beyond belief! They asked us to do worship up there that was televised on God TV....if you want to watch the San Francisco Solemen Assembly you can log onto God TV and watch it via the web. The boys rocked out and I believe the heavens were opened and that the city of San Fran is experiencing a radical shift and we are blessed that we got to be a part of it all.

This week Jake is in DC for the CALL DC! We will be open at 7am on Saturday August 16th in order to begin interceding alonside with everyone in DC. We are watching the CALL Live all day from 7am-7pm (10am-10pm eastern time) then we will be doing Harp and Bowl live with Jason Bowen and myself...you will not want to miss out....its gonna be amazing!

Its only a temporary goodbye...

Just wanted to remind you all that the Refuge will be closed starting Wednesday, July 30th until Sunday, August 3. We are all road tripping up to Redding CA for Jesus Culture...yay!

RefugeHOP Reminders...

Hey everyone...

I just wanted to remind you that the Refuge will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, July 22nd all day and then Wednesday, July 23rd until 7pm. Please pray for us as we all (Jake, myself and all of our interns) team up with Bound 4 Life Bakersfield and JHOP San Fran and Consecrate the State Bakersfield. Tuesday we are doing a 9 hour prayer rumble and then on Wednesday we siege. We are all so excited!!!!

No worries though we will be back and in full effect on Thursday, July 24th with all of our regular prayer times. If you have any questions let me know.....blessings!

Welcome baby Judah Blue Hamilton!

Join me as we welcome the neweset addition to the Hamilton family as well as our Refuge family....Judah Blue Hamilton!

Judah was born on Thursday, June 26th at 6:52pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 7oz and was 20.5 inches long. Everyone is doing just great! Thank you God for the amazing new additional and miracle we call Judah. Yay God!

Books, CD's, T-Shirts....oh my!

So this blog is all mine now...prepare for too much information about the Refuge, silly pictures, and random thoughts. I thought I would start this blog out by introducing our beautiful building to you all in a few segments. Todays segment I will show you all the amazing Refuge Bookstore....so come on in and enjoy!

Here is a picture of our bookstore as a whole and then I will show you what it is packed full of.

Now into the merchandise that we carry at the Refuge. Did you know that we have so many amazing books available? By such authors as Mike Bickle, Bill Johnson, James Goll, Che Ahn, Mahesh Chaveda, Reinhard Bonnke, and much more.

And if you are not much of the "reader" may I also suggest books and sermons on cd? And wouldn't you know that we carry those as well! We are like a one stop shop. You can enjoy such series as: "The Life of David" by Mike Bickle, "Studies in Joel" by Mike Bickle, "Affections of God" by Kirk Bennett, "The Coming Transition" by Morning Star. Not to mention our own Refuge series: "Jehu" by Jake Hamilton and many Refuge School of Ministry teachings by both Jake Hamilton and Rob Covell.

You can also "pump up the WORSHIP jams"! We have tons of different cd's from all different amazing worship leaders. Talk about pulling heaven to earth....you can try anywhere from Audra Lynn from IHOP, to Jake Ferrell a worship leader at ZHOP. We carry David Ruis, Misty Edwards, Kim Walker, Hillsong United and The Refuge House of Prayer Band featuring Jake Hamilton.

Okay scenario...say you came to the Refuge for prayer and worship and you decided to wear a long sleeve shirt. As the night progresses you realize that you are pretty warm and a short sleeve shirt would be much more comforatble. Well all you have to do is mosey on into the bookstore and pick yourself up a BRAND NEW TSHIRT! All shirts are under $20 and they have some of the coolest designs ever. Style and comfort all located in the bookstore.

All purchases in the bookstore are by donation only. Each product contains a "suggested donation price" but overall the bookstores purpose to help provide you with resources that are harder to find in other bookstores in order to further your journey. Kirk Bennett Sunday 5-25-08

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to invite you all to come out to the Refuge this Sunday as Kirk
Bennett from ZHOP will be joining us. Who is Kirk Bennett you may be
asking...great question! Kirk was one of the original people who helped
initiate IHOP in Kansas City as well as being a burning man for the ending
of abortion in America. He will be here 7pm Sunday night to speak, his team
will lead some worship as well as some good old impartation. You will not
want to miss out. Hope to see you all there!
