Happy Holidays

Dear Refuge Partners,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you to all of you who have faithfully supported the Refuge House of Prayer. We are pleased to inform you that the Refuge House of Prayer will be re-opening in January. We look forward to partnering with you in the upcoming season.

The Hamilton family is moving forward into what God is doing in their lives and transitioning out of their role at the Refuge. We are so proud of them for stepping out in faith and we rejoice with them! They will continue to be in our hearts and in our prayers and we will continue in love and partnership with them in kingdom building! For more information a video is available at www.refugehop.com.

As for us, we have been a part of the prayer house for the last three years from the beginning. We have partnered with and supported the Refuge and participated in the building of its foundation. We will continue to carry the torch that has been lit in our city. We are committed to maintaining continuous worship & prayer and hosting the presence of God in Rancho Cucamonga. It is our heart to be a refuge in Rancho Cucamonga. Isaiah 57:13.

Here is a glimpse of upcoming ministries we will be expanding upon in the near future:

IMPACT School of Ministry (January 11, 2010) www.impactschoolofministry.com

Healing Ministry

Prophetic Ministry

Children’s Equipping Center

Prayer support for business owners and city leaders

A place of rest and refreshing for pastors and associates

Weekly worship and prayer meetings

At this time we are asking for your prayers as we develop a leadership team, financial base and clarity of vision for Refuge HOP. We will be communicating more information soon regarding prayer meetings beginning in January.

If Refuge HOP has been a blessing to you we would greatly appreciate your continued support as we move forward in this next season and expanding Refuge’s vision and resources. We look forward to strengthening current relationships and building new ones.

Ted and Toni Imsen

Same Building, Same Name, Different Leaders, Expanded Vision

The best way to describe what is happening next at the Refuge is, "the
same, but different." God loves and desires for "brothers to dwell
together in unity" so that the blessing is not just for an individual
but for the Body in a city, region, state, and nation. If you are
still confused about what big things God has done in such a small
house than lets just look back over the last few years. More united
prayer and fasting has taken place within churches who previously
would not have associated, there is a greater hunger for the move of
the Holy Spirit and the gifts in our city, and we have had a deepening
revelation of the value of apostolic leadership within the Body of
Christ in our city. These few things along with the marriages that
have been saved, the healings that have happened, the deliverence and
freedom that has been experienced, the national influence our
leadership has been given, and the salvations that have taken place
all show us the move of God that is birthing from a little city with a
funny name that God loves.

But in every season we must be faithful with the voice of the Lord and
the changing of that season. What comes next is simple and beautiful,
people who have loved us and been faithful in the House of Prayer are
now taking on the leadership. Many of our core have either called them
their spiritual mom and dad at one-time or have desired to. Ted and
Toni Imsen have held a special place in my heart because of their love
for both me and my family and most importantly the Lord. They are what
you call, "Presence People". Their desire is to be in the presence of
the Lord and take others with them and to be honest, thats all that
matters to me. Having people in charge that dont care if it all falls
apart tommorrow, they just want to be with the one they love. Ted and
Toni will continue the ministry in the same building with the same
name with expanded vision. I would love to tell you all about it but I
believe that they will do a much better job.

So I want to ask you for two things, first go to www.refugehop.com and
please view the video to hear their hearts and what is next for my
family. Second, please continue your support of the Refuge and the
Imsens with your time and energy as well as with your finances. If you
have Partnered with the Refuge in this last season we ask that you
would continue pour your support into what God is doing next. You will
find that this next season is about promotion and not just transition
and we want you to be with us for the journey. Ted and Toni will be
contacting you through or email list and via letters to continue to
share their hearts and ask for your support in the next season. This
is an opportunity that my family will not pass by and neither should
you.

Thank you all for your love and your prayers. God is the move, dont
miss the wind.

Open Mic Night at the Refuge

Hey everyone!

We have some fun and exciting things happening this weekend that I wanted to tell you all about.

This weekend (October 17th) at the Refuge House of Prayer we will be hosting our first ever OPEN MIC night. The first 12 people signed up this Saturday will have the opportunity to share their gift and revelation with us Please see the attached flier for more details on times and guidelines. We desire to release voices in the earth with clarity and revelation that will shape this generation, but how will anyone be blessed by what the Lord is speaking to others if people do not have the opportunity to share it? That is the heart of what we are trying to accomplish this weekend.

ALSO this Saturday we will be hosting a Songwriting Workshop prior to our evening gathering starting at 4pm. Jake Hamilton will leading a time of impartation and training on how to give your heart a voice. We believe God is raising up singer/songwriters in a profound way in this hour, you don't want to miss this opportunity. There is no charge for this event or for the Workshop.

School of Worship: Release a Sound, September 25-26

Can you hear the sound of the Father singing over you?
Can you hear the voices of revivals past calling you to add your voice
to theirs?
Are you hearing the rhythms and the melodies that will define the
sound of this generation?

There is a divine opportunity available for the Body of Christ to make
a clear sound in the earth with their voices and with their
instruments that will point the direction away from "rockstar
christianity" and lead a generation back to Jesus. He will once again
have the attention of our affection and be the center of our
declarations.

This gathering is geared to be a "tool box" for worshippers of all
backgrounds and all skill levels. We are aiming this weekend at
worship through music. Although we know that music alone is not the
fullness of how we express worship it is a key theme in scripture for
how believers worship from Genesis to Revelation. So whether you
desire to gain practical skills from theory to piano, or you long to
develope the heart of a worshipper from the congregation to the stage,
this gathering will provide encouragement and training to pursue
worship as a lifestyle rather than a job. Please join us with pastors
and leaders from all over the region as we attempt to serve the Body
of Christ by providing a crash course in the musical arts that will
benifit both leaders and the congregations they serve.

This week at the Refuge...

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to update you on what is going on this week at the Refuge House of Prayer! Here are a few exciting things to look forward to and unite with us on.

This Saturday, January 17th at 12 noon at the Refuge....CALLING ALL YOUTH!!! (youth is 25 years and younger)
In this hour God is raising up burning ones. Ones that shine for Him in the darkest places. They do not obtain this light by striving or personal gain - they obtain it by a life fully given to the Lord, reckless abandon, consecrated and set apart. They want Jesus more than the air and are willing to sacrifice anything to get it.
WE WANT YOUR VOICE TO BE HEARD as we set aside a specific night of the week given to youth and young adults crying out for their generation. Join us Saturday, January 17th at 12 noon to help us develop what this will look like at the Refuge, on campuses and on the streets.

January 23-25, 2008 Corey Russell is out in Rancho for the School of Intercession. For more details and registration please log onto http://www.refugehop.com/

Friday Nights starting February 20th at 9pm we will be starting a Revelations Discussion Group with Jake Hamilton. We will be meeting at Refuge at 9pm and heading out to a place to chill and dig deeper into the book of Revelations.

This is an exciting time...and we are excited to unite with all of you! Please let me know if you have any further questions. Much love and blessings over you all, and hope to see you at the Prayer House soon!
